1.      Parade would be ON this Saturday, 10 Oct 2015, and the JUNIORS would be having the COOKOUT COMPETITION

2.      If the haze is bad, we would conduct all activities, including the cookout, indoor

3.      Members please remember to bring items assigned to you during the group discussion – inform your squad leader or officers if you are not able to do so

SENIORs: BB Selangor Founder's Day 2015

The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia Selangor State is organizing the Founder’s Day celebration in remembrance of the Boys’ Brigade Founder Sir William Alexander Smith and 8th Petaling Jaya Company will be taking part in this celebration.

Date: Saturday, 10th October 2015
Time: 9.00am to 3.00pm
Venue: City Harvest Church Kuala Lumpur, No. 3, Jalan SS13/4, Subang Jaya, 47500 Selangor
Cost: RM 10/- per pax inclusive of lunch
Attire: Ceremonial Uniform & Sportswear for Games (at least 2 sets of different color t-shirts for ID purposes)

Please note that we will assemble at City Harvest Church at 8.30am and dismiss by 3.00pm from there. Please note that 8PJ will be doing the GOH fanfare as well as to help cater our famous chap fun for lunch!

Squad Leaders, please inform all your squad members and send me your confirmation by this Saturday, 26th September so that we can consolidate and submit as a Coy. Do get your squad members to also submit their individual parental consent form this Sat as well.

The committee is organizing various games where prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing. The types of the games are listed below. Please note that the cost for the games are RM20 per team other than the 3-on-3 basketball where it's RM15. If you are interested in the any of the games, do please form your own complete team, fill up the games registration form and send the softcopy to me by 26th September.

We would like to thank all the parents, family members, PBC Elders, Deacons, Leaders and Staff as well as HCapt Richard Lee (BBM Exco), Capt Francis Chiong (BB Asia),  the other BB companies (1st PJ, 1st Klang, 2SJ) for joining us in our 2nd E&A Day 2015 last Saturday. We have been very blessed with your presence that brought much joy to our celebration. - There will be no parade for Senior section
- Band will be going to Ipoh. Meet in PBC Cafeteria@8 at 8.45am in Mufti and with your band instruments

29th August 2015
- Due to the long holiday and parental concerns regarding the happenings around KL, the WHOLE company will NOT have parade on that Saturday. There will be no parade for everyone on 29th Aug.

RE: 8th PETALING JAYA COMPANY’s (BB8PJ) Enrollment & Award Day 2015

We are very glad to inform you that 8th Petaling Jaya Company will be holding her 2nd annual Enrollment and Award (E&A) Day, and the details are as follow :-                             

Date                 : 15th August 2015

Time                 : 10:00 am – 1:30 pm (for parents)

Venue              : Pantai Baptist Church, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Dress Code      : Pre-Juniors – Dark Blue collared t-shirt

              Juniors        – FULL Uniform

              Seniors       – Ceremonial

( The company photos would be taken at 9.30am at No.22 Bungalow. Pre-juniors and Juniors members are advised to be in church by 9.00am)

This is a very meaningful day for the Company, as the officers and the members are enrolled for another year with the 8th Petaling Jaya Company.

We too would like to invite you and your family to join us in this occasion, to support your child / children, as they receive the awards that they have worked very hard for.

Please do plan to stay back after the event for some light refreshments so that we can get to know you better as well as to answer any queries that you may have.
