BB8PJ 10TH Anniversary
Family Day

On the 27th April 2024, many of our members along with their parents joined us for our
10th Anniversary Family Day celebration at Pantai Baptist Church! Through the time of 2.00pm to 6.00pm, many programs have been prepared and lined up for all ages.
Programs that were held on Family Day included
Focus on the Family talk for parents and youth “The 5 Love Languages”.
Juniors and Pre-Juniors members preparing a special spread for the parents.
Seniors members preparing exciting and challenging games.
Baking session for parent and child(ren)
Mini Displays of our members' work and others.
The main event began with our company fall in and a time of worship to give thanks to our Lord Jesus for gathering everyone on that day to celebrate His faithfulness and His provision over the BB8PJ Company over the 10 years.
After our photo session, the pre juniors and juniors were off to prepare special refreshments for all the members and our beloved parents, both sections worked together to help prepare the dishes, ranging from spaghetti, garlic bread, curry puffs
Meanwhile, our seniors and fellow parents are attending a talk from Focus on the Family titled “The 5 Love Languages” lead by Mr Benny Kong, Executive Director of Focus on the Family Malaysia. Parents and members participate in the many engaging fellowship activities and learned about how the different love languages effects the relationship between a parent and their child.
Thus after the session, parents and members enjoyed a very special and satisfying refreshments session, catching up with each other and enjoying moments of happiness from the delicious food after a long day.
With many dressed in our 10th Anniversary T-shirt, the next event was filled with excitement and anticipation with members and parents trying to win in the games section, working together with their squads to win as many points as they can.
Happening at the same time, a few parents and members went ahead to a baking session to learn how to prepare Mantou, a chinese steamed bun. Parents and their children worked together in fellowship to create exciting and cute custom mantous in shapes of a rabbit and a carrot.
The day closed with announcing the winning team for the 10th Anniversary Games and our company fall out. As the day neared the end, we waved and bid farewell to one of our oldest Corporals discharging from the company to pursue his future career goals.
We at BB8PJ would like to extend our utmost gratitude and thanks to all the parents and members that helped contribute to this event as well as participating in all the activities prepared for this Family Day, this event was a success all because of God’s faithfulness and impact in the company as well as through Him, everybody’s contribution towards to the company’s growth. Great is Thy Faithfulness!
