Due to the current haze condition in Malaysia, BB8PJ will adopt the following haze protocol for our regular Saturday parades in line with the Malaysian National Haze Action Plan:
API at 200 or above
Parades will be called off if the API is at 200 or above. We will check for the API reading at the Haze Malaysia website (http://www.hazemalaysia.com/show/SELANGOR/Petaling-Jaya) at 8.00am on Saturday morning. If the API reading is at 200 or above, parade is automatically called off. Otherwise it will still continue as usual. We will post the notice on FB and our website as well.
API below 200
In the event the parade resumes (API below 200), all outdoor activities will be called off as long as the API is above 100. We will conduct all our activities indoor.
If at any time that you as a parent feels that it's unsafe for your child to attend the parade, do please keep him/her at home and inform the OIC. Do please reach out to the OIC or Captain if you have any queries or need further information. Thank you.
Note: You will be informed separately regarding the status of special programs like Pre-Jr parents-child bonding session, band etc by the respective OICs.
